Following the roof cleaning a reappraisal of the roof will be carried out with all ridges, valleys, hips even chimney stacks can be included and reviewed for overall safety and condition of the mortar . The lead flashings will also be checked to ensure they are bedded correctly.

All replacement tiles will be locally sourced and matched as closely as the equivalent in place at the property.

The normal kind of repairs we would expect to carry out on most roofs would include one or all of the following:- 

• Replace any deteriorating mortar between crests, ridge and hip tiles.
• Re-pointing of lead flashing.
• Ridges and crests re-bedded.
• Damaged roof tiles replaced.
• Chimney stacks pointing and stability checked

Once these repairs have been carried out the application of roof coatings or roof sealers can begin.
